My May Sample Room Purchase: Moringa O2 Toner and Soap!

Hello everyone! I recently subscribed to Sample Room’s VIP package. The deal has the following mechanics:
  • Php 599 for 1000 points, limited VIP slots only
  • Points redeemable through reviews
  • Maximum of 3 items per transaction
  • Expires after two months.

Honestly, I find it a little excessive on Sample Room’s part. The fee is quite steep if you consider the transaction limit and the Php 100 delivery flat rate. The fact that it expires after two months (how ‘bout never or at least for a little bit longer) feels a little constricting if you account for Sample Room restocking only about twice a month.

Since going VIP last May 14, there's been only three restocks. The first one was sold out three hours later, which took me by surprise while I was surfing. We were supposed to get early notifications of restocks via email and I don't know why I never saw it coming. I barely made it through the second restock, which consisted of previously sampled items. The third restock is just the Moringa O2 line.

Here’s the packet:

May Sample Room Purchase: Moringa O2 Malunggay

There was a smaller-than-usual bag in the package and the goodies weren’t placed inside the bag- strange. Nonetheless, the toner was bubble-wrapped, the soap arrived intact and the bag made for better photos so I have no issues with it.

Here’s What I Got:

Moringa O2 Malunggay Herbal and Alcohol-Free Toner

Moringa O2 Malunggay Herbal and Alcohol-Free Toner 35 pts or Php 89.75 / 100ml

This was pretty much the main reason I had a delivery for the month. I’m always out on the prowl for possible Shiseido Benefiance Softener replacements as I’m iffy of being chained to one trust-worthy product. I had a pretty good experience with the Moringa O2 lotion so I’m hoping this one performs just as well. The emerald green color is a huge plus! Shallow, but I love it!

Alcohol-free toners are always nice for people like me with dry skin. There are other waaaaay too many benefits listed here but I'm not going to prioritize listing them all. I just gloss over universal blanket claims that make it seem like you have some sort of miracle product on you.

Moringa O2 Malunggay Herbal Soap

Moringa O2 Malunggay Herbal Soap, 20 pts or Php 49.75 / 60g

I was also eyeing this one when it first came out, being a believer of malunggay. I have no illusions of having all its herbapeutic benefits as I have it on good authority that you have to: 1.) ingest Moringa for maximum absorption, rather than spread on the skin and 2.) ingest A LOT for any of the good stuff to take effect. I just enjoyed the lotion so much and I’m hoping this smells as nice as the lotion :)

Nowhere is it indicated that this is a facial soap, no matter how much I want to use it as such. I will disregard advice on the soap to use the toner and lotion with it. I'm not really sure I'd want that lotion on my face! I think they might have carelessly cross-promoted here.

P.S.: I now have the complete Moringa O2 - Malunggay line and that makes me oh so happy!

I’m still waiting for those over-100 pts items. Good thing I had our ISP changed. Our previous home DSL is a 5Mbps package but delivered only 200-600 kbps! I've hopped over to BayanTel and hallelloooo, thank you for keeping true to your promises :P I can now join the hordes of Sample Room ninjas instead of being left crying in the dust.
